Court availability

 

 

Outdoor tennis courts

• 8 grass courts (mowed in mid July to give a very good quality playing surface throughout the Summer). Weather permitting the grass courts will start to become available in mid-May
• 4 artificial grass courts
• A practice wall

Indoor tennis courts / the dome

• 3 indoor floodlit courts enclosed under a dome which are of a good playing standard. These courts have been recently cleaned and repainted and the dome has been completely re-lit
• Courts can only be booked by club members
• Janice Couthard is responsible for managing playing tennis in the dome. Contact her at 07803 922 246 or janice.coulthard@ntlworld.com
• Until mid-September, use of the indoor courts is free. Courts can be booked for 45 minute periods in exactly the same way as outdoor courts are booked. As from 21 September you have to pay to play in the dome.

Ground staff

Guy Hughes is responsible for the club's grounds.

Will Leach is the club's full time groundsman assisted by part-time groundsman John Hawthorne. Will and John have absolute authority on deciding whether a court is playable or not.
