Easter Bunny Tournament
Well done all 18 intrepid souls who braved the blizzards on Easter Monday to play tennis at Ealing. After the snow came the Easter egg , so that boosted us all up for the day’s endeavours. We had a fun day with players ranging from the higher men’s teams, the ladies teams, through to beginners and one hardy junior, Nicolas. The final was fought out between Yoshi Furuya, John Bush, Janine Sabbagh and Rita Payne and the winners were Yoshi and Janine. The girls took the Easter bunny egg cups as prizes, Yoshi got a dalek that wouldn’t stop shrieking "Exterminate" (we had some difficulty explaining what this was all about to Yoshi) and John Bush got Myrtle Moo in milk chocolate for his efforts. I am already looking forward to a nice cold glass of wine at the end of next year’s tournament! Korin Harvey
