Another fiercely contested Bank Holiday Tournament took place under the grey skies of W5 on Bank Holiday Monday. The 20 players were sorted into two groups by the organiser Janice Coulthard and then using a sliding handicap, were sent out to do battle.  Seven games were played with sudden death deuces.

In the group stage some very hotly fought games pursued with Jenny Parish and Patrick Taylor coming through to win group 2. In group 1 Amy Tsao and Giles Corby came through as victors. Two semi finals then took place with Amy / Giles winning 5-2, whilst on the other court Alison Trickey and Ricky Boardman came through victorious 4-3.

The drizzle held off for an excellent final, of one full set with no handicap, with all four players playing their hearts out, but at the end Amy and Giles held the cup up high with a 7-5 victory.
